NEW BUSINESS;
- USDA Pump Station Grant- Motion to move forward to apply for a grant with USDA for
engineering of a new Sewer Pump Station. - Comprehensive Plan First Reading- Motion to approve the Strat Acumen Group to prepare an updated Comprehensive Plan for the Town of East New Market, $55,000.00- choosing option #2
- Budget Amendment First Reading- Motion to transfer $18,333.32 out ofline-item 1535 Capital Outlay to General Account to use for partial payment for the Comprehensive Plan.
- First Reading of Ordinance # requiring permanent foundations for single-wide and double-wide manufactured and mobile homes.
- Community Patrol Grant- The Town of East New Market was awarded a grant for crime prevention and safety in the amount of$35,425.00.
- Community Parks & Playgrounds Grant- The Town of East New Market was approved for the grant to have the walking trail and parking lot paved at Friendship Park.
